I'm usually not a fan of anything involving science fiction, but The Host was so beautifully written with such an intriguing story that it was hard to put it down. The whole dynamic of the story and the relationships between all of the characters seemed so pure and conflicting that it was hard not to feel myself being pulled deeper and deeper into this novel. I was constantly guessing, pacing myself and trying to figure out the next turn of events. This story is so full of constant twists and turns, and it was like a fresh breath of air to read something so different and so original.
